At present, the type of gas sensors for semiconductor materials gas sensor can be divided into three
main classes as SnO2, ZnO and Fe2O3.
But in actual applications, the gas sensitivity and selectivity of pure SnO2 gas-sensing materials is not so good [2, 3].

Abstract:
We present a novel method to fabricate uniform GaN nanocone arrays (GNA) using Nickel-nanoisland masks.
With the rapid progress in semiconductor process technology, GaN nanostructured materials with various morphologies have been successfully synthesized via different routines.
Contrary to the bottom-up synthesis, top-down etching process is an alternate way to achieve nanorod structures by removing the constituent elements from the original materials.
