How to study this complex process of damage and fracture until the instability ,the specialist in mechanical and civil engineering have been efforted, but not yet overcome the problems.
Based on the basic principles of the mechanics of solids and linear elastic fracture mechanics, using the modified shear lag theory[4,5], taking into account the convenience of modeling and calculation results of the exact set of three variations layer, the bonding energy law derived aerated concrete block wall of the equivalent fracture toughness model[6].Test for related data, analysis of the corresponding standard sub-story model of each group for the 5,8,10,12,15mm equivalent fracture toughness, through comparative analysis of the results put forward a reasonable standard sub- storey for computing, also verify that the effective fracture toughness is independent of specimen size fracture parameters, so as it provides a new method to predict the cracking and failure of aerated concrete block wall, the applicability of engineering with a strong .
