Program- and Goal-Oriented Approach to Organization of Monitoring Deformations of Buildings and Structures Viktor Volkov1,a*, Vladimir Smirnov2,b 1,2Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Vtoraja Krasnoarmejskaja ul. 4, St.
It proceeds from inequality (5) that in order to get the representative results of measuring settlements of engineering structures at the stage of designing the geodetic network of re-leveling it is necessary to integrate (with confidential probability β = 0.997) the selection of benchmarks designs with the forecasted stability thereof with respect to dimensions of settlements being determined, periodically repeated geodetic observations and the instrumental accuracy thereof.
No less important thing in organizing geodetic observations of settlements of engineering structures is a scientifically-based selection of time interval between re-leveling sessions, which helps measure significant values of settlements of buildings and structures.
