Introduction Use of composites in different applications ranging from aircraft and space systems to the recent smart structure concept has been prolific and this is accentuated by development of new materials and fabrication methods.
Since the behavior of composites up to failure is quite complex and depends on the type of manufacture and materials used in the composites, experimental studies were conducted for material characterization for one type of composite INDCARF using coupons with and without damage.
