Abstract. To study extruding soil caused of close-mouth step cross-section pipe Pile, model experimentals of five static piling tests with two constant cross-section pipe piles and three step cross-scetion pipe piles are performed in lab respectively and some observation points are installed for heave amount and horizontal displacement of soil surface around piles before tests. Results show that penetration resistance improved linearly with increasing of length of pile in soil and there has a turning point which become more and more obviously with increasing of average diameter of step
Soil plug and action of pile have obviorous relationship (Heerema[4] ) and it has been validated that there are relative settlement and skin resistance between inside walls of pile and soil plug from begin to end.The problem of relationship between inside walls of pile and soil plug is studied by FEM of grid refinement model (Chow [5]),but reliablilty of numerical solution is very closed with the ground model and parameter of soil. The soil plugging effect and sigle pile bearing capacity of pipe pile in artesian aquifer are researched by tracking monitoring and in-situ testing(Zhu[6]).The main effect factors to bearing capacity of pipe pile and sensitive range of compaction effect is researched by comparing the change of soil strength and pore water pressure during driving pipe piles(Yang[7]).

Abstract: In the practice of safety assessment on transmission grid, there is the variation degree of
many indexes which can not be accurately described, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method
can reflect the safety degree of every element.
