Soy protein isolate(SPI) based edible film as matrix materials have been prepared using the casting techniques.
Materials that can be used to make edible films include polysaccharides, proteins and lipids, or a combination of these.
Different proteins, such as wheat gluten, corn zein and whey proteins have been proposed as raw materials for developing edible film formulations.

Interfaces in Joints and Composites Composed of Hard Materials and Metals Prof.
All those various materials solutions have in common that there are interfaces between materials that typically have a covalent or ionic bonding and metals.
In particular cutting tools for drilling, sawing or grinding need such new materials or material joints.

Two types of base layer materials pure sand and cemented sand comprising husk rich ash and two types of geosynthetics materials geogrid and geotextile were used.
Constitutive models were used to represent different materials in numerical analysis.
Therefore, seawall stabilization, for two cases of base layer materials is increased when geosynthetics materials introduced to the system.
Increasing the thickness of base layer for both materials used enhancing the performance of stabilization.
