Nowadays coating materials such as TiN, TiC, TiCN, TiAlN, ZrN and Al2O3 and their combinations have been a great success.
Cryogenic treatment refers to the treatment of materials at around -183ºC using liquid Nitrogen which islesser than that used in cold treated which is around -96ºC.
A dry process in which the materials being treated are not exposed to the liquid Nitrogen was employed.
