The anode bulk density which has a closely relation with porosity, oxidation resistance, resistivity, thermal conductivity and mechanical property.
High density laboratory-scale carbon anodes were produced by a new method of high-temperature mould pressing, and their physico-chemical properties were studied.
The carbon brick had a very good quality with high density, low porosity and permeability, high thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical property.
Kneading temperature is one of the main factors affecting kneading process.
Table 1 gives the results and physical properties of industrial prebaked carbon anodes.

The effect of the factors and the interation between them upon the increase of interstitials was determined using a 33 factorial design with two replicates [11].
Factors and levels Factor Levels -1 0 1 2.4 Milling time (M) [h] 1 6 - 18 Sintering temperature (T) [ºC] 1000 1200 1400 - Holding time (H) [h] 1 3 5 - Results Table 2 shows the design matrix with the average results of the response variables O, N and C.
The significant factors were identified by the F test performed for a confidence interval of 95 %.
Other factors and interactions had negligible or no effects in the process.
During sintering at temperatures above 1000 ºC this oxygen is dissolved into solution thus affecting mechanical properties of the final parts (yield, strength, ductility, fatigue, hardness, etc.) [10].

In many cases, it’s only possible to use a certain portion of the recycled material, which depends on numerous factors, mostly on the type of processing.
Before the use of the concrete, the factors of fraction, impact on load-bearing values, water absorption and icing must be taken in mind.
The key elements of the decision-making process for the use of recycled materials include the properties and the possibilities of recycling.
Waste has different properties and the recycling differs as well.
All these factors must be considered when deciding on the use of recycled material.

Introduction
In processes of fusion welding the crystal structure of metal in the welding bead is one of the major factors influencing the quality and properties of the welding joint.
Mechanical properties of the weld joint can be improved [4] by introducing high-melting particles to the molten metal which increases the number of induced crystallization centers reducing the grain size during hardening [1, 2].
It has been known that one of the most important applications of WEE powders is modification of material properties.
The structure of the melting border and the arc heat-affected zone, A - Sample 1, B – Sample 2, C – Sample 3 The heat-affected zone in the samples cannot be precisely identified but it has a similar width for all the samples.

The factorial portion of CCD is a full factorial design with all combinations of the factors at two levels (high, +1 and low, -1) and composed of the eight star points, and six central points (coded level 0) which is the midpoint between the high and low levels.
In the present study, the processing parameters affecting the magnetic abrasive material loss rate (MALR) and surface roughness (Ra) such as abrasive size (), spindle speed (), tool and workpiece gap () and feed speed () were considered for experimentation and analysis.
Table 2 shows the identified factors and their levels which the experimental matrix that was adopted in this study in both coded and actual factors.
This means that regression model provides an excellent explanation of the relationship between the factors and the response of magnetic abrasive loss rate.

Secondly, from the position of regulating their properties [2, 4, 6].
Enrichment allows you to purposefully form the properties of building compositions - cement, concrete, ceramic, silicate.
Studies of the dependence of the properties of the modified cement stone with the ash product were carried out using a two-factor experiment (tabl. 4).
The introduction of an aluminosilicate ash product affects the physical and mechanical properties of the modified cement stone not only in terms of its mechanical role.

In addition, due to limitations in computing power as well as the complexity of temperature dependent material properties, several assumptions were required to allow for the FE model to converge.
The strain gauges were placed on the side arm and middle arm (see Figure 1) to determine how the varying wall thickness would affect the development of residual strain.
Although the results presented in the current study and in [18] provide valuable data regarding stress development in castings, the studies are limited by the precision of the applied techniques (i.e. strain gauges and thermal imaging) as well as the accuracy of the temperature dependent material properties.
