The idea of the characteristics of heat transfer and liquid flow in various devices of tube bundles: round, ellipsoidal and pterygoid, for heat exchangers by constructing a two-dimensional numerical model was given by the Franco-Belgian team (Nagla El-Garbi, etc.) [2], and also in C Jayewel, Shaligram Tiwari [3], Sh.
Aiba et al. [4].
Numerical study of heat and flow characteristics in a single-phase heat exchanger with a parallel flow to obtain optimal shapes was conducted by South Korean researchers (Seok-Jin O et al.) [5].

Shen et al. [6] demonstrated that ASTM E1290-02 gave CTOD values about 30 % smaller than those calculated in BS7448 for the girth welds of API 5L Grade X80.
Donato et al. [7] also showed that CTOD converted from plastic work and its dimensionless J calibration factor was 20 to 30 % lower than the corresponding BS7448-CTOD in JIS SM400C steel.
In the working group, Tagawa et al. [8] indicated that ASTM E1290-08 gave a smaller value of the critical CTOD for cleavage cracking than that evaluated by BS7448 for low yield-to-tensile ratio steels, and we [9] developed an equation that transforms BS7448-CTOD into ASTM E1290-CTOD with reasonable accuracy.
CTOD in BS7448-1:1991 and ASTM E1290-08 BS7448-CTOD, δBS, is obtained by the following equation [2], where δBS,el is the elastic part of δBS, δBS,pl is the plastic part of δBS, K is the stress intensity factor, ν is Poisson's ratio, E is Young's modulus, σYS is the 0.2% offset yield strength, rpl is the plastic rotational factor, Vpl is the plastic part of clip gauge opening displacement, a is the crack length, b is the uncracked ligament width and z is the distance of the knife edge measurement point from the front face on Single Edge-notch Bend (SEB) specimens or from the load line in Compact Type (CT) specimens

The p+-layer were formed by implantation of Al and thermal annealing; a p+n junction was formed at a depth of 0.6 µm [3].
