Also, the steel characteristics have to be known; in this case Romanian steel for civil applications, PC52 steel was used.
The heat transfer FEM simulation for a reinforced concrete slab using Comsol Multiphysics, has been proved to be a useful method, providing important results about the thermal influences of embedded materials into concrete elements, used in civil applications.
