These technologies are those of the field of today’s engineering and are essential to achieve the so-called digital competence.
From the outset, we wanted the students to collaborate through the development of old Final Year Projects (FYP) of the degrees in process of closure, and new BDFP of the new titles of the Industrial and Civil Engineering School (EIIC).

The Italian national department of the Civil Protection started, several years ago, an ambitious project targeted to the permanent real-time monitoring of public strategic structures placed in seismic prone regions of Italy.
Each building is equipped with a local monitoring system that is triggered to record only seismic shaking and is set to send automatically the recorded data to a central processing unit at the Civil Protection centre where they are processed.
