Fullerenes were found to segregate to the film-solid substrate interface, which altered the interfacial chemistry and geometry.
AFM in a dynamic contact mode was utilized to study local structure of the films under ambient conditions.
This research is partially supported by Center of Excellence on Petrochemical and Materials Technology, NANOTEC-MU Excellence Center on Intelligent Materials and Systems and Center for Innovation in Chemistry.

The effects of pore structure of zeolites, temperature and pressure on the hydrogen adsorption has been examined.
Fig.1 shows a schematic drawing of the zeolite pore structure investigated [15].
The zeolites structure was assumed to be rigid structure during the adsorption process.
The detailed structures of zeolites are summarized in Table 1.

Here in this work, we present a large-scale and facile method to obtain monodisperse and spherical core-shell structured SiO2@Y2O3:Tb3+ samples by functionalization of silica spheres with Y2O3:Tb3+ layers via sol-gel process, and characterize the structure, morphology, photoluminescent properties of the resulting samples in detail.
In this way core-shell structured SiO2@ Y2O3:Tb3+ particles were obtained.
Due to the different electron penetrability for cores and shells, the core-shell structure can be observed clearly.
Conclusion Spherical core-shell structured SiO2@Y2O3:Tb3+ particles with uniform size distribution have been successfully prepared by sol-gel method followed by annealing at 700 oC.

These aspects are discussed in respect of two Ti-Al intermetallics with duplex and lamellar structures.
A large variety of TiAl alloys exhibiting wide ranging microstructures and mechanical properties have been developed till date, exploiting the principles of alloy chemistry, thermo-mechanical processing and heat treatment [5-7].
The microstructure of i-tab1 consists of Duplex (gamma + Lamellar) structure with colony size around 200 om.
In i-tab1, the structure is a composite (duplex) type consisting of around 30 to 40 percent lamellar structure and the remaining volume is occupied by equiaxed crystals of i and c2.
In TiAlCr the toughness values are almost twice the values obtained for duplex structure i.e.for i-tab1.

The FT-IR spectroscopy, TGA and XRD were used to characterize the structure, thermal properties and crystallinity of HBPU.
Hyperbranched polymers have similar structure and performance with the dendrimers.
In this study, the hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched structure (Fig.1) was introduced into PPU which has linear structure so as to form a novel polymer with space network.
It has changed the traditional structure of PU.
The results showed that the hyperbranched structure had a significant influence on its mechanical properties.

The structures of low molecular weight fluoropolymers were analyzed by FTIR and 1H-NMR.
It will make a further analysis of the composition and chain structures of the fluoropolymers by 1H-NMR as follows.
In the 1H-NMR spectrum of telechelic carboxyl low molecular weight fluoropolymers, the peak at 1.55 ppm (d) is assigned to the structure of –CF=C(CF3)–CH2–;the peak at 4.68ppm (b) is assigned to the structure of –(CF3)C=CH–; peaks at 7.50~7.70ppm (a) are assigned to the structure of –CH=CF–[17-19].
With peaks (a, b and d) which assigned to the structures of double bonds reducing sharply, a new peak appearing at 1.84ppm(g) which is assigned to the structure of –CF2CF(CF3)–CH2–.

.% with amorphous and nanocrystalline phase structure.
Compared the three apex of component diffraction, the deposit is composed of the amorphous and nanocrystalline phase structure.
The amorphous structure is determined in the deposit considering the unique “steamed bun” peak from X-ray diffraction (2θ≈51°).
The molybdenum content of the deposited alloy is higher than 21.76 at.% from EDS in alkaline carbonate solution with amorphous structure from X-ray diffraction.
