The mechanical property of inconel 718 Nd-YAG laser welding joint was investigated and analyzed with tensile test, microhardness test, metallurgical structure analyzing and other approaches.
Weld Surface Topography and Metallurgical Structure Investigation.
It indicated that the structure and composition were not uniform in the weld; different parts had different structure and grain dimension.
The maximum value of welding joint tensile strength obtained at P=18%, T=3.0ms. (3)As grain coarsened at HAZ and brittle structure precipitated at weld, the plasticity of welding joint decreased and the elongation percentage was less than base metal. (4)The microhardness value which concerned with weld microstructure and grain size was highest at the center of welding, relatively low at HAZ and edge, but all were greater than base metal.

Abstract.

It is very possible for the foam zinc materials to take the place of zinc powder and become
a new ideal material of electrode for zinc-air battery, because of its excellent three dimensional
reticulated structure, high porosity, high specific surface area and uniform quality, and was widely
used in many other fields.
Foam metallic materials produced by Electro-deposition technique have an excellent three dimensional reticulated structure, high porosity, high specific surface area and uniform quality.
Because of the complex structure, high porosity and flexibility of the foam substrate materials, the conventional technologies of planar or liner zinc plating are unable to deposit zinc onto the surface of the foam substrate.
Conclusion The foam zinc, prepared by electro-deposition technology, presented a three-dimensional reticular structure with high porosity, high specific surface area, uniform distribution, and the outward appearance of the coating is bright, the porosity of it is greater than 90%.

cooling.
Cast iron which has solidified by this moment on the surface of crystallizer is of white cementite structure.
At cooling of castings from 800°C in the air cast iron structure have pearlite metal basis.
PR and billets from grey cast iron of the same chemistry obtained by casting in sand moulds (SM) by continuous horizontal casting (CHC) and CICF were analyzed, the results are given in Table 1.

These images suggest that porous structure of the oxidation film on pure titanium was formed at an anodizing time of 5 min.
This behavior demonstrates that porous structure of the oxidation film was formed at the beginning of the anodizing.
Analysis of the results led to the following conclusion: (1) The anodized pure titanium showed a porous structure

The possibility of maintaining the structure of polyetheretherketone under conditions of its extrusion processing without the risk of deterioration of the main technological and operational characteristics is revealed.
Previously, we have studied the regularities of thermal and thermo-oxidative transformations of PEEK of various structures in a wide range of temperatures, and proposed thermal decomposition schemes depending on the structure and temperature of pyrolysis [1-3].
Thus, it was found that PEEK undergoes changes in structure and molecular weight during operation and processing, which necessitates the use of stabilizers to extend the service life of polymer products [5, 6].
