The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of temperature on the IPs growth and formation mechanisms, completing previous works on microstructure and kinetics characterization of IPs in Al/Ni system at 720°C.
Introduction Investigations into new alloys and processes stem from the need for developing new materials, processes and selection strategies to satisfy more demanding service applications and environmental restrictions.
Due to potential technological applications, intermetallic compounds have attracted much attention in recent years.

Solder materials are critical packaging compounds and due to usually weakest melting temperature among packaging constitutive materials, thus, they are frequently subjected to a multitude of physical phenomena: creep, fatigue and combined hardening effects.
That is the aim of this paper with application to a tin based solder token as the test material.
The assembly is constituted by a soldered silicon Chip brazed to a DBC substrate by a 62Sn36Pb2Ag solder alloy.

The most perspective components of the structure of this material is titanium carbide (TiC), characterized by high hardness, and heat-resistant nickel alloys as a metallic binder of carbide particles.
The aim of this work is to evaluate the wear resistance of products after arc welding using electrods made of powder SHS-mechanocomposites.
At the same time, the structure of welded metal during the complex process of alloying a prepared compound of titanium carbide ensures high wear resistance and hardness of the alloy as compared with a separate TiC introduction [9].

After high-efficient melt-treatment, inclusions in the samples exist uniformly in the tiny
flake/particle form, and their number is very few (Fig. 1 [c]), and grain appears in the fine equiaxed
form (Fig. 2 [c]), and Fe-rich phases transform into tiny, sphere/short stick form (Fig. 3 [c]), EDAX
analysis has shown that the phases are turned into complex (AlFeSiRE) compounds.

This paper aims to remedy these drawbacks by deposition of thin hard layer to improve wear resistance by increasing hardness, while retaining the core tenacious material.
Also, by mixing will accelerate chemical reactions, occurring physical processes acceleration, dissolution of certain compounds and enhancing heat transfer.

The aim of this work has been to investigate the possibilites to produce CFB-steels by pressing and sintering.
Si was added as Fe45Si pre-alloyed powder, P was added as pre-alloyed Fe3P powder, Mn as Fe81Mn powder and graphite and kenolube were added separately.
The austempering temperature was chosen above the calculated martensite start (Ms) temperatures for the average composition of the alloys [12].
