Cutting speed affects surface integrity obviously more than other cutting parameters such as depth-of-cut, feed rate.
In this paper, the effects of cutting speed on the surface integrity of titanium alloy Ti-1023 including surface roughness, microstructure and microhardness in face milling are presented. 2 Experimental Procedures Ti-1023 is a near-β titanium alloy type, the nominal composition and physical properties of Ti-1023 are respectively given in Tab.1 and Tab. 2.
The micro hardness measurements repeated three times for each inspection point and the average values were finally adopted. 3 Results and discussions The results and discussions are concentrated on the workpiece surface integrity aspects on finish machining of titanium alloy Ti-1023. 3.1 Surface roughness The surface integrity can be quantified by many methods whereas surface roughness is one of the most widely used characterization methods, which is affected by many factors.
Although machined surface deteriorates, machined surface texture is affected and the surface roughness decreases yet.

The validation process consists of a number of experimental activities in the frame of the Surveillance Programme, aimed at providing mechanical property data; principally the determination of the effects of radiation on mechanical properties and the measurements on representative welds to determine the level of residual stress.
The welds were stress relieved to reduce residual stress and drive out trapped hydrogen (both factors reduce the risk of hydride formation) by holding the weld at 580°C for 3 hours followed by a controlled cool in compliance with the relevant ASME code [[] ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes, 1998, Section VIII, Div 1, p.205 ].
Measurements were made at positions in the weld, heat affected zone, and parent material for a distance of 30 mm either side of the nominal weld centre.
Considering that the peak width was ~1°, the gain was another factor of 10.
(ii) The average of three reflections were used; Zr (103), (112), and (201), each having multiplicity factor of 12.

Structural and Optical Properties of Er3+-Doped Zinc-Titania Tellurite Glasses S.O.
Such properties are correlated to its smaller spectroscopic quality factor χ ratio [16] and local structure of highly symmetry of Er3+ which possibly reduces any nonradiative energy transfer mechanism via energy migration or cross relaxation among the Er3+ ions, also known as fluorescence quenching effect [17].

Thus the major contributing factor for the abrupt increase in temperature was found.
The other important factors which are required to calculate angle of incident radiation are declination angle and hour angle both depends on location and time of the year.

It can be concluded that level of V concentration at the beginning of TD process is a vital factor for the forming of VC layer.
This paper deals with how the beginning V concentration affects the result of TD process on Cr12MoV.

The research shows: round pit texture has a certain influence on friction factor of coating’s surface and abrasion loss.
Foreword Wear-resisting coating prepared by supersonic plasma spraying has excellent mechanical property, friction and wear property, anti-oxidation and corrosion-resistance, so wide attention and application are received, and there are many researches about it to be reported[1-3].
The technical problem just can be solved by the laser remelting[4-5], and coating’s layer structure, most of pores and oxide inclusion are removed, forming uniform dense coating, thereby it ensures coating’s properties and improves working life of parts.
Friction coefficient is related to properties of boundary film and the distribution of surface effective gradient, property of boundary film is related to third-body bed, the increase of thickness of third-body bed can make effective gradient decrease, this is said the change of third-body bed can cause the change of friction coefficient.
Micro moulding has a certain influence on third-body bed, so it can be thought micro moulding has a certain influence on tribological properties.

The properties of ECC are optimized on the basis of micromechanics design methodology.
It improves the durability and mechanical properties.
Adverse affecting properties of low quality ingredients present in ECC can be overcome with the design based on micromechanical studies [Li et al. 2004].Various properties of ECC are improved due to the design based on micromechanics.
The objective of this study is to determine the mechanical properties of Engineered Cementitious Concrete with hybrid steel and polypropylene; only with polypropylene fibres addition in various dosages.
The properties of fibers are presented in Table 1.

Other factors that donate for difficulty in machining this material are due to its high work-hardening tendency rates at machining strain rates which leads to high cutting forces, toughness, gumminess and strong tendency to weld to the tool and to form built up edge [4, 5].
The surface roughness of the work is considered as one of the most crucial factors for quality surface evaluation as it significantly can affect the work performance, durability and reliability [8].
In machining Inconel 718, the determination quality of its machined surface is generally contributed by various parameters such as cutting conditions, tool geometry and material properties [11].
Cutting conditions in coded factors and the surface roughness values obtained using TiN coated cemented carbide insert are presented in Table 3.

Should take full account of the enterprise's own characteristics and industry characteristics when building BOM.According to the situation of the small and medium manufacturing enterprise, the factors that should be considered during the process of building BOM as follow[4]:(1)Market factors. Most of the small and medium manufacturing enterprises are market-driven rather than re search-driven,it depends mainly on the response and grasp to market opportunities, so the BOM structure should flexible and has good adaptability and scalability. In order to making the whole information system can well meet the different needs of various customers.(2)Product factors. The products of small and medium manufacturing enterprises is more in imitation, improvement, and upgrading, engaged in gradualness innovation activities. Therefore, the structure of the product BOM is not frequently updated. If the function of products is divided into a function module, then structure the modular BOM will be convenient for
the production.(3)Human factors.Small and medium manufacturing enterprises in China lack of specialized information talents generally, existing staff also lack the necessary information knowledge.
Through the product function modular, every function module model can be made of multiple attributes, when some attributes of the module have multiple attribute values, and these attribute values are necessary to determine the module, these attributes can be regarded as the module's variables, that is,the variables in the module configuration design,We define ,is 's attribute variables in the 's module,in this way, customer's specific needs is actually transform into module "properties".When a customer input requirements in accordance with the option, the customer demand will be mapped to the module attributes (module variables), according to the value of the variable take different modules to determine the specific product configuration.

Minimizing downtime in machine tools is one of the factors that determine the performance increase of the production processes involved.
Machining processes can be stopped by needing to change the tool as a consequence of the loss of their initial properties due to the wear process that suffer during machining.
In the case of machining, the machine downtime is one of the most critical factors, since these time intervals -in which the machine does not produce- make to decrease the production process performance [1].
However, one of the most common causes of machine stops undesirable (and therefore of the production) is due to the loss of the initial properties of the tool, both in terms of its geometry as in related to their physicochemical properties.
Lower speeds are the most affected by this effect, since at low speeds, appears the greatest amount of material adhered on the rake face.
