ODS steels (Oxide Dispersion Strengthened) are candidate materials for fuel cladding in Sodium Fast Reactors (SFR).
These materials have good mechanical properties at high temperature due to a dispersion of nanometer-sized oxides into the matrix.
These materials are manufactured by powder alloying and contain nanometric particles of oxide which are anchors against dislocation movement improving the performance of these materials at high temperature.
Journal of Materials Science, 2007. 42(13): p. 5286-5295
Journal of Nuclear Materials, 2004. 329: p. 1534-1538

Then Ni-Cu/SDC composite anode materials were prepared.
The maximal power density could reach 126mW.cm-2 at 700 ℃.Thereby, Ni-Cu/SDC composite materials are good anode materials.
The composite anode materials match well with the SDC electrolyte in thermal expansion.
