In this work, the CeO2/CuO catalysts were prepared by the hydrothermal method and the multi-technique characterizations were employed in order to further investigate the effect of composition and structure on catalytic performance.
It is obvious that CuO exists in monoclinic phase and CeO2 presents the characteristic peaks of fluorite-type oxide structure.
Table 1 lists molar ratio, structure and textural properties of the catalysts.
The CeO2/CuO-B catalyst presents better catalytic activity at higher temperature in compared with the other catalysts, and it is related to its structure.

The crystal structure for II-VI compounds generally crystallize in cubic or hexagonal structure.
All the samples exhibit a polycrystalline hexagonal structure.

The crystal structure and phase identification of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction with a monochromatic source of Cu Kα (λ=0.15405 nm) and Raman spectroscopy (Thermo Scientific DXR Raman Microscope with 532 nm DPSS laser).
When the sonication time rise to 30 min, the sample shows prominent diffraction peaks situated at 2q = 25.3º, 37.8º, 48.1º, 55.2º, 62.8º, 70.5º and 75.2º, which correspond to (101), (004), (200), (211), (204), (220) and (215) orientation plane with tetragonal structure of anatase phase (JCPDS File No. 89-4921), respectively.
It clearly seen that the fine TiO2 nanoparticles have a quasi-spherical structure with diameter 20-30 nm and show the polycrystalline structure after calcined at 500 °C.

Of various functional vehicles developed so far, Pluronic® family, a series of triblock copolymers arranged in PEO-PPO-PEO structure, are of particular interest for the reversal of MDR owing to their ability to sensitize MDR cancer cells.
From 1HNMR integration analysis, these results suggested that the proposed structure was synthesized successfully (Fig. 1B).
The morphology of the P123P600 was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), indicate that the P123P600 is able to self-assemble into spherical micelles due to its amphiphilic nature, the spherical structures were observed approximately 140 nm in diameter (Fig. 2A, B).

In order to improve the machinability of this ceramic materials, one metrod is to introduce another weak interphase or layered structure material into the matrix to facilitate crack deflection during machining[3].
With the temperature was increased to 200°C, hexagonal and monoclinic CePO4 with diameters 5-50nm and lengths exceeding several micrometers form a clear shelf structure, but ZrO2 particles distribute in between CePO4 particles.
The formed rob-like coating before calcination became more thiner, and some CePO4 with layered structure agglomerated on the surface of ZrO2 particles due to the heat treatment.
It is well known that the hexagonal crystal structure, such as ZnO and CdSe, often shows the anisotropic growth along the [001] direction[9,10].
The zeta-potential of the CePO4 coated ZrO2 was similar to that of CePO4, which confirmed that CePO4 formed a surface layer on the ZrO2 particles and altered the surface chemistry of the ZrO2.

The hydroxyapatite coating, however, gives rise to problems including composition and structure control, tightly bonding to the substrate [7].
The structures of oxide films were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD) with CuKα radiation 40kV 200mA at a scanning speed of 4°/min, and with the scanning range (2θ) from 10° to 60°.
It was found that the surface of the oxide film was covered with needle-like crystals and that rough and porous structures of surfaces retained.
TiO2 and a TiO2 single crystal, or SiO2 gel and quartz are chemically the same materials, but they have quite different crystal structures.

Co3O4 belongs to the spinel crystal structure ,based on a cubic closely-packed structure of oxide ions and has attracted extra attention, owing to their broad range of applications such as gas sensing, catalysts, and magnetic storage devices[4,5].
Cao et al. have obtained spinel structure Co3O4 nanoparticles with an average diameter about 17 nm and regarded as electrocatalysts for H2O2 reduction.
All the diffraction peaks such as (111), (220), (321), (222), (400), (422), (511), (440) in Figure 1 can be readily indexed to the cubic spinel structure Co3O4 with the lattice parameters a=8.076Å.

There are 17 RE elements in chemistry periodic table and their atomic number are from 57 to 71 (element La ~ Lu) and 21(Sc), 39(Y).
The Principium Analysis in Mechanical Property of RE Carbide By means of SEM, the metallographic structures ofYW1R and YW1 are obtained and shown in Fig.3.

The fcc structure has 12 slip systems, which contributes to increasing the toughness of Co-phase.
These 2 photos indicate that the more transgranular and cleavage fracture occurred in RE carbide tools (YW1R) which has dimple structure in part.

The structure of grafted LDPE was studied by FT-IR, TGA and SEM spectra.

Herein, mineralization of vaterite crystals with silk-worm like structures has been first reported by an injection-precipitation method in the precense of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
The silk-worm like particles shown in Figure 3a was further observed by TEM and HRTEM for the fine structure of vaterite.
Vaterite has a hexagonal structure with the space group P63/mmc, and certain similar structure characteristics to calcite [16, 17].
