Introduction
The marble processing mechanism is that materials mainly fracture but not deformation, which is quite different with metal processing mechanism.
George[3] analyzed the fracture mechanism of brittle material of indentation test, by measured brittle material’s hardness in loading.
Materials in D(seen in fig.5(b)) are relatively incompact, groove surface in this area is rough; while materials in E (seen in fig.5(b)) are drawn out and groove width wider than real contact section between diamond and marble.
