Preface
The volume contains selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the AMS-II 2021 Workshop “Advances in Materials Sciences-2021,” which took place in the framework of the II International Conference on Advances in Materials Science and Technologies - CAMSTech-II 2021 on 29-31 July 2021 in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.
The presented papers cover recent research results in functional materials, polymer and composite materials, chemical production technologies, metallurgy, metal science, heat treatment and processing of metals and alloys, corrosion protection, surface engineering, functional coatings, some aspects of non-destructive testing, and technological measurements.
The volume will be helpful for a wide range of scientists and specialists of research institutes, design organizations, industrial enterprises, and educational institutions interested in materials science and technologies of materials synthesis and processing.
We provided all contributors with the opportunity to publish their papers in an international, peer-reviewed journal.

This paper is a basic study to evaluate the mix conditions of PCS-coating materials such as coating thicknesses, curing ages and polymer-cement ratios which affect the bond strength of PCS coated rebar with EVA latex that can replace epoxy-coated rebar.
