Wavelet Analysis in Damage Detection for Bridge Structure Hu Weibing1,a, Hu Wei1,b and Zheng Yu1,c 1 School of Civil Engineering Xi'an Univ. of Arch. & Tech.
Introduction Nowadays, the safety, durability and holistic health monitoring of the large-scale engineering structure including large-span bridge structure during the period of the normal operation have become the research hotspots in the area of academe and engineering.
It requires the structural health monitoring system can found in the damage occurred and determine the location of damage accurately, and provide the basis and guidance for the maintenance of engineering structure and management decision-making.
Therefore, it's especially important to look for dynamic characteristic parameters which are suitable for large-scale engineering structure and with good anti-noise ability [1].
