This study introduces a nano smart material to develop a novel sensor for Structural
Health Monitoring (SHM) of mechanical and civil systems.
To address the need for new intelligent sensing, this study introduces a nano smart material to develop a novel sensor for SHM of mechanical and civil systems.
However, the inability to fabricate bulk material has been a serious obstacle to the use of CNTs in engineering applications.
The spray or tape type long continuous strain sensor is anticipated to be a novel versatile sensor in mechanical and civil engineering because of its static and dynamic strain measurement with longer covering range and less data acquisition channel due to multi-functional sensing characteristics.

Abstract:Using large-scale shearing device, isotropiclly consolidated-drained triaxial test under different confining pressures are performed for overburden material of ShuangJiangKou earthdam which relative density is 0.9.
So it is widely used in hydraulic engineering, traffic engineering and civil engineering.
