Viscoelastic materials have been widely used for that purpose.
The continuous desire for materials having excellent properties, which would be light, stiff and have better damping characteristics have lead to consider composite materials not only from the point of view of how stiff or strong they are, but also from the point of view of how good a damping they can provide.
Experimental and analytical characterization of damping is not easy, even with conventional structural materials; and the orthotropic type of composite materials get even more complex.
This study presents that composite materials have the potential to use as engine or damping mounting devices.

The optimized composite materials have been used as quick repair materials in the Chengyu (Chengdu to Chongqing) highway, southwest China.
Experiments 2.1 Materials What polymers be used in the repair materials for quick repair of cement concrete pavement is essentially important.
Different kinds of polymers and variable proportion of these materials may cause different properties of the repair materials.
