The Research of Reliability of Axial Forced Components from Steel Structural Design Codes between China and Foreign Wenhai Luo1, a, Zhihua Nie1,b 1 Department of Civil Engineering, Nanchang Institute of Technology, Nanchang, Jiangxi, 330099, China adsytx@126.com, bncnzh@163.com Keywords: steel structure, design code, reliability Abstract.
Introduction At present time, in the international civil engineering design area, European and American standard systems tend to dominate.
In the cooperation engineering construction between other countries and China, our civil engineering standard system has been almost ignored.
It just because these our partners didn’t understand our civil engineering standard systems, which they considered that the setting-level of the safety of our standard systems was lower then what of American and European standard systems.
However, our engineer almost didn’t understand the European and American civil engineering standard systems, so they could hardly prove that ours were more reliable than the American and European standard systems.
