Graphite oxide (GO) is layered structure with functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl and carbonyl between layers.
GO is layered structure with functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl and carbonyl between layers.
Fourier transform Infrared spectrometer (IRPrestige-21, Japan Shimadz) was used to characterize and determine the structure of the GO.
The peaks of the GO are not as strong as the pristine graphite and the pattern shows that the crystal structure is not so perfect.
All of this are related to the layered structure and the oxygen-containing groups between layers.

Microstructural analysis showed formation of homogenous and denser structure in kaolin geopolymer ceramic as the NaOH concentration increase.
Kaolin has needle-like structure arranged in layered structure forming stacks of books.
This was because the structure of kaolin is composed sheets of silica and alumina held together by van der Waals and hydrogen bonding.
Before geopolymerization has occurred, the structure of kaolin were loose and inhomogeneous.

Experimental details A schematic structure of the FED panel using CNT as cold cathode material was shown in Fig.1.
Fig.1 The schematic structure of whole FED panel with double strip emitters Fig.2 The schematic structure diagram of double stripe emitters on the cathode back-plate Results and discussion Screen-printing process was a high efficient manufacture method, which would be adopted in the fabrication course for the double stripe emitters on the cathode back-plate of FED panel.
For the double stripe emitter structure, the CNT was used to emit lots of electrons, which also was the requirement for a normal operating FED panel.

In such a case, the novel polymer, PMHS-g-HFBMA, with comb-like structure could be obtained.
The structure and properties characterization of PMHS-g-HFBMA were also studied.
Results and discussion Structure characterization of PMHS-g-HFBMA The hydrosilylation of PMHS with allyl compound could be generally monitored by observing the disappearance of the characteristic ≡Si-H absorption at about 2160 cm-1 by FT-IR or chemical shift at 4.7 ppm by 1H NMR.
The molecular structure of PMHS-g-HFBMA was characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, which showed that the expected product was formed.

Due to its close-packed hexagonal structure with low slip system, the ductility of magnesium alloy is poor at room temperature.
Model of magnesium alloy wheel and die structure were shown in Fig. 2.
The 3D molding of wheel, back-extrusion sample, and die structure were illustrated in Fig. 2(a), (b) and (c) respectively.
Fig. 2 Model of wheel and die structure The blank of magnesium alloy wheel hub using extrusion was cylindrical of AZ31B.

Introduction In 1991, the tubular structure of carbon molecules was detected in MWNT by Iijima.
Carbon nanotubes have hollow structure and their diameters generally in the nanoscale.
People have paid more attention on MWNT for their unique mechanical [1], electrical [2], optical [3], thermal [4] properties due to such perfect hexagonal structure of carbon atoms.

Ceria (CeO2) with fluorite-type structure is one of the most reactive rare earth materials because its application in conversion catalysts, three-way catalysts (TWCs), fuel cells, solar cells, gates for metal-oxide semiconductor devices and phosphers.[14] Therefore, great efforts have been devoted to the synthesis of CeO2 nanoparticles with various morphologies.
All diffraction peaks could be indexed as cubic structure CeO2 with cell constants a=5.413Ǻ, which are in agreement with the reported value (JCPDS No. 04-0593, a=5.411Ǻ), and no impurity phases were found in the XRD patterns.
Low magnification TEM images (Fig.2. a and b ) reveal that well-defined microspherical structures of cubic CeO2, which were prepared via the solvothermal process and then the product was calcined with muffle oven at 400 oC.
When reaction time stand for 24 h, CeO2 was deposited as sheath around the hydrophilic groups of PEG-10000 lamellar vesicles, which is used as soft template to produce micelles@ CeO2 core-shell structure.

The XRD pattern of Co82Ni18 nanocrystalline alloy shows the familiar three peaks, which are representative of the fcc structure.
The ratio of square of the radius of the concentric rings in the Co82Ni18 alloy is 3:4 in the SAED pattern which confirms the fcc structure of the alloy.
Fig. 6 Magnetization measurement results of nanocrystalline Co82Ni18 alloy: (a) M-H plots measured at 5 and 300 K (b) ZFC and FC curves measured with an applied field of 400 Oe. 4 Summary Nanocrystalline Co82Ni18 alloy with fcc structure was successfully prepared by the precursor approach without using any protective or nucleating agents.
The polycrystalline fcc structure of the alloy nanoparticles was also confirmed by the electron diffraction studies.
