Introduction Recent years have seen significant efforts to develop cost reducing technologies for the production of engineering components from titanium alloys [1-3], particularly via the so called ‘near net shape’ forming routes.
While the characteristics of this arc-wire technique have been examined by a number of parties under various names including Shaped Metal Deposition (SMD) [4, 5], Wire and Arc Additive Layer Manufacturing (WAALM) [6] and Robotic TIG Metal wire Deposition (RTMwD) [7], relatively little work has been done in relation to residual stresses resulting from the process, particularly in titanium alloys.

Lead-free solder alloys are now mainly used in the industry as electrical interconnects to fulfill the safety and health regulation [6–10].
Furthermore, Alam et al. investigated the variations in mechanical and microstructure behaviour of several lead free solder alloys subjected to high temperature aging.
The physical analysis founded the grain coarsening, intermetallic compounds volume increase, and the grain boundaries growth [9], [10].

Since precipitation hardening depends on the size and distribution of the precipitates, in general associated with cooling rate and temperature of hot rolling, the aim of the present work is to optimize these variables from the point of view to perform the highest possible yield stress.

In the orthopedic dentistry, it is worth to apply these coatings on the dental prostheses made of cobalt-chrome or chrome-nickel alloys.
The process waste waters that result from electroplating processes of copper-plating, silver-plating and gold-plating contain highly toxic ordinary and complex cyan (cyanide) compounds: KCN, NaCN, [Cu(CN)2]–, [Ag(CN)2]–, [Au(CN)2]–.
Aim of Paper The aim of paper was to substantiate the appropriateness of the use of new acidic thiocarbamide-cytrate electrolytes based on the comparative analysis of cyanide electrolytes available in practice.
Research Results It is a well-known fact that the compositions of electrolytes used for the application of copper, silver and gold coatings usually include metal salts and ligands that form cluster compounds with the ions of these metals.
The copper subgroup metal coatings of a satisfactory quality were obtained on copper and its alloys (brass and bronze).

Currently, structural ceramics or intermetallic compounds are using as heat-resistant and wear-resistant materials.
At this angle of inclination, the laser beam is focused at the initial point and defocused at the final one, which allows one to estimate the maximum energy contribution of the laser beam to the formation of Ni-Ti intermetallic compounds.
