The discrimination results of five samples show that uncertainty measurement model can be considered as having a steady discriminating ability and has excellent operability, high classification accuracy and is an effective method to engineering application.

Using Shear Wave Velocity to Assess the Stiffness of Soil-Cement-Fly Ash

It is a parameter for practical geotechnical problems both in earthquake engineering and in the prediction of soil structure interaction.
The engineering properties were found that the specific gravity is 2.72, the natural water content was 66.3%, the mass density was 1,470 kg/m3 and the liquid limit is 88%. 60 experiment soft Bangkok clay samples were prepared at the liquid limit by mixing 20% by weight of Portland cement Type 1 as recommended by [2] and varying the replacement fly ash of 0, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30%.
