Although CBR is a relatively new discipline, there are ever-increasing number of papers, reports and books being published on the subject.
Salomon's work led other researchers to postulate the existence of HSM regime that was sparked a number of efforts.
(6) Powder metallurgy high-speed steels, coated tools or superfine grain cemented carbides tools are suitable for the machine tool-cutting tool-workpiece-fixture system with lower rigidity, in which solid tools are employed.
The developed case-based reasoning system for tool material selection can recommend high-speed cutting tools such as power metallurgy high-speed steel, coated tools, superfine grain cemented carbides, cermet tools, ceramics and cubic boron nitride, diamond tools for machining of workpiece materials such as steels, cast irons and its alloys, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys and superalloys.
The developed system is highly suitable for the selection of tool materials in HSM operations in which tool materials selection is affected by a large number of factors and the effects are poorly understood.

Large pores and massive amorphous grains were present in the external surface of Pt-molecular sieves.
Pt/HZSM-5 was represented by massive amorphous grains whose sizes exceeded 15 μm.
In order to verify the existence of hydrogenation reactions of the long-chain olefins, the bromine number of the liquid products was estimated.
Only the products over Pt/HZSM-5 showed quite a few bromine number, it means the hydrogenation of olefins was incomplete.

In recent years, rare earths are successfully applied to modify the surface properties of thermal spray coatings, it has reported that the addition of CeO2 in to the coatings leads to grain refinement and purification of the grain boundaries, which lead to the increase in microhardness and wear resistance of the coatings [6].
Weight gain versus number of cycles plots for the bare as well as detonation gun sprayed NiCrAlY+0.4wt%CeO2 coated superalloys (superni 75, superni 718 and superfer 800H) oxidised at 900 oC in air for 100 cycles are shown in Fig.3.
Fig. 3 Weight gain/area vs. number of cycles plot for NiCrAlY+0.4wt%CeO2 coated and bare superalloys subjected to cyclic oxidation in air for 100 cycles at 900 oC.
Goward, Tawancy and Sridhar [18-19] have reported that yttrium where segregated along the grain boundaries of A12O3, and lowers the scale growth rates.
RE segregate to oxide grain boundaries, where they can significantly reduce the outward transport of Al, hence decrease the rate of oxidation, contribute to the improved scale adherence, and reduced interfacial void formation [20].

It is seen that the final solidification position locates at Part A, which can be resulted from the local coarse grains caused by smaller SR.
In the as-cast condition, most of the eutectic Si with long strip shapes distributed on the grain boundary.
It is worth mentioning that θ-Al2Cu, Q-Al5Cu2Mg8Si6 phases generated by eutectic reaction also presents in the grain boundary.
Micro-cracks are initiated at eutectic Si around the grain boundary as the load increases.
The dimples are deeper and the number of the dimples is more than that of part A.

These features are attributed to the plastic strain incompatibility between ferrite and martensite, where the volume fraction of martensite, the grain size, the martensite morphology, the strength ratio and the interface strength influence the deformation behavior through the plastic strain incompatibility.
Average polishing interval was 1mm and total section number was 20.
Figure 4 Number of genus, independent bodies, and voids per unit volume.
Note that the number of bodyM decreases with increasing the temperature, suggesting the dispersivity of martensite decreases.
No remarkable change in the number of handle was found.

Desai[2] and others have done a large number of the contact surface of the direct shear and single shear test in which they studied the main factors of sand -structure interface.
Ga Zhang and Jianmin Zhang[3-4] have done a more systematic study of the mechanical properties and deformation mechanism under monotonic and cyclic loading of the coarse-grained soil with coarse steel interfaces.

The rate of grinding depends on a number of factors, including the mill parameters, the properties of the grinding media, and the properties of the particles to be ground.
The rate of grinding depends on a number of factors, including the mill parameters, the properties of the grinding media, and the properties of the particles to be ground.
Experimental procedure The employed raw materials were high purity Al2O3 powder having small grain size of about 500 nm.
For a given volume, the number of balls increases inversely as the cube of the radius.
Assuming that the rate of grinding depends on the number of contact points between the balls and the powder and that the number of contact points, in turn, depends on the surface area of the balls, then the rate of grinding will increase inversely as the radius of the balls.

A number of harmful compounds including tar, nicotine, ammonia and hydrogen cyanide that inhaled by smokers can be reduced with filters.Filter holes isthe key to reducing the nicotine and tar content of a standard cigarette.
Wave number and absorbtion unit of samples can represent in Table 1.
(a) and some of them are coarse grain as shown in Figs. 2.
The coarse grain shape indicates the presence of TiO2 compound.
It can be concluded that inputting method of TiO2 suspension through the base of cigarette filter is better and safer than through the cigarettes filter tip, although inputting method of TiO2 suspension through cigarettes filter tip has greater reduce metal content as well as reduce absorbance value but the health issues more precisely on the number of titania inhaled replaces other metals amount.

The assembly process is relying on global numbering of discrete equilibrium equations yielding so called code-numbers assigned to nodes (identifying equilibrium equations assembled in given node) and to elements (identifying equilibrium equation into which the element end-forces contribute).
Pthreads is low-level API for working with threads, thus it provides an extremely fine-grained control over thread management (create, join, attributes), mutexes, etc.
Thus, one has extremely fine-grained control over thread management (create, join, attributes), mutexes, etc.
The total number of equations was 3013128.
It can be observed that time needed for this calculation is reduced as number of threads gets bigger.
