The research to “adapt to the disasters” in the traditional architecture and town Yunli Gu School of Civil Engineering and Achitecture Southwest University of Science and Technology Mianyang, China, 621010 E-mail:470695321@qq.com Key words: Adapt to the Disasters(“AD”): Architectural philosophy: Environmental philosophy Abstract: Based on the principle of harmony between man and nature, " adapt to the disaster" emphasizes the initiative to adapt to nature, to adapt to the environment hazard, then, through transforming local environment, reduce or even avoid disaster losses, achieve the goal of lucky risk-averse.
Simple engineering disaster prevention measures, focus on remaking the nature to create a relatively "safe" living environment; "AD" focus on conforming the nature to avoid potential threat of disaster environment; On the method, the former focuses on changing disaster environment (such as the construction of Dams, etc.) and improve engineering structure resistance against natural disasters (such as seismic and wind resistance design, etc.)
;While the latter is through planning (such as site selection and layout, etc.) and architectural design (such as design and combination form, etc.), in order to avoid or reduce the negative impact of the disaster and to provide an advantageous prerequisites for engineering structure design
As the construction environment of "AD" is not static, in the dynamic changes, is generative, is also a "living", "AD" is to adapt to the environment of "life" cyclical or sudden severe changes; When human own power direction is consistent with the environment, the environment form a natural disposition which is the driving force and put it into the path of "habitat", is more suitable for human settlements, this is the concept of "AD" connotation; When human own power direction is resistant to the environment, and human is more powerful on the thrust of circumstance, the environment is distorted itself towards the direction of self decomposition, finally, the environment become "dead", it appeared in a lot of simple engineering disaster prevention measures, cause the result of ecological imbalance, environment deterioration, the "victory" of relief, disaster reconstruction solved the present problem on the surface, may actually be planted more big hidden trouble, "because the every victory
