Nanoindentation testing at very low load is a successful technique for studying the mechanical properties of these materials.
The nanoindentation test is one of the important tests for understanding the behavior of materials and many researchers tried to simulate it for bulk material and thin films.

Smart concrete is a branch of smart materials; its origin can be traced to the cement-based electric materials obtained by combining carbon with cement by soviet scholars in the 1960s.
A factory relative to the smart materials and structures in civil engineering was built on the sustentation of National Nature Science Foundation of USA in 1993.
However, it is difficult for fabricating intact smart concrete materials with various functions according to the present science level.

The basic principle of the MFAAF process for finishing of flat and cylindrical surfaces were studied by Shinmura et al. [1-4] on difficult-to-machine materials.
The material removal and surface roughness increase as the magnetic abrasive particle diameter increases.
The high level of surface finish of the work material is achieved at higher signal to noise ratio.
