Fig. 1 Calculated opal colors sequenced by h0 Fig. 2 Calculated opal colors sequenced by L* L-3-1 Fig. 3 Australia blue opal L-3 Fig. 4 Microstructure of L-3 under SEM Fig. 5 Microstructure of L-3 under SEM Results Color Analysis.
To avoid impact from opal luster and the subjectivity of the human eye, 33 pieces opals were classified by hue (h0) and lightness (L*) respectively, see Figs 1 and 2.
Transfer Table 1 color parameters from standard light source D65 to C, then calculated dominant wavelength of each color.
Both SEM and AFM images reveal the SiO2 packing of testing area L-3-1 of sample L-3, and the image of SEM can show the rule packing of opal more obviously, see figure 6 and figure 7.

Realization of a Modeling and Simulation System for MID Laser Direct Structuring Equipment Wenjuan Hu1, a, Yong Zhuo*1, b, Xuan Wu1, Guowei Lan1, Xin Zhao1 1School of Physics and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Xiamen University, Xiamen, China awo_shi_wen@163.com, bzhuoyong@xmu.edu.cn.
Introduction MID is an innovations technology in the field of mechatronics which abandoned the conventional board and integrates the mechanical and electronic functions directly on materials[1].
Function modules of LDS device modeling and simulation system The system (Fig.1) is developed based on Open CASCADE [6] and MFC, which consists of geometric modeling, data exchange, LDS simulation, path planning, and output NC code.
Realizations of the LDS Device Modeling The LDS device structure is dominated by five-axis machine with rotary tables, laser system and galvanometer system [1].

FSP utilizes the same concept used in friction stir welding (FSW) developed by the Welding Institute (TWI) in 19991 [1].
A CNC milling machine was used to conduct the FSP experiments using a specially designed tool as shown in Fig.1.
Longitudinal and through-thickness positions are shown in Fig. 1 (c).

The sensing principle The configuration of a tapered fiber is shown in Fig.1.
Fig.1: Configuration of tapered fiber The numerical calculation was carried out using MATLAB programming.
The figure shows the normalized output power suddenly decreased from 1 to 0.63 mV when the specimen is poured into the mould.
