Factors affecting the joint strength of brazed joints like external compressive weight, diffusion of filler material into the parent materials, surface roughness of parent materials, surface flatness have been discussed.
Brazing and soldering involves joining of two materials with the help of a third filler material.
The filler materials flow through capillary action.
Another important criterion for successful brazing is wetting of base materials by filler material.
Flow of filler materials is assisted by low angle of contact.

A water solution containing 10 wt% prepared materials was used.
Comparing HTH materials with reference soil revealed that the HTH had important effect on root length.
