The main difference in the chemistries of DD32 alloy and SRR99 alloy was the addition of approximately 4% rhenium.

In the FTIR spectrum of SA, peaks at 3419 cm-1and 1620 cm-1 were ascribed to the O-H and C=O stretching vibration, which is consistent with the structure of SA.
