Abstract: Characteristics of aluminum alloys such as light weight, high strength-to-weight ratio and favorable corrosion resistance have brought about a bright application prospect in building structures.
(3) Cast aluminum alloy ZL111-T6 holds some obvious advantages such as remarkable castability, fine mechanical and fatigue performance which could spread its application in structural engineering, and the nonexistence of brittle fracture at low temperature could adapt itself to cryogenic environment

However, because aluminium is a need in our daily lives, careful processing and beneficiating it for different applications related to civil and building would reduce the environmental risk.
Due to the high compressive strengths, the environmentally friendly composites developed may be used for civil and building applications.
