The ceramic abrasive grains is composite of crystal include zirconia and alumina.
Alumina is very hard and tough, therefore the ceramic abrasive grains belt have a longer life expectancy than the other two kinds of belt in many processing situations.
These is caused because of the characteristics of the abrasive, the ceramic abrasive is manufactured by gel method, every abrasive grain is constitute of alumina ceramic composed by many sub-micron grain[9,10].
