The course of gelatinization depends on the structure of starch which is composed of two kinds of molecules, amylose and amylopectin.
Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) was used to analyze the structure of starch, which revealed that starch granules contain three regions, namely semicrystalline regions containing alternating crystalline and amorphous lamellae, which are embedded in a matrix of amorphous material [13].

Our research revealed that CFA grains have nano, micron or millimeter structure in different kinds of mid-low grade phosphorite [11].
The nanostructured CFA bearing siliceous phosphorite (n-SPR) was discovered being suitable to remove aqueous Cd2+ for its higher removal capacity than those samples containing micron or millimeter structured CFA grains.

After grounding, polishing, and etching by 3% natal, the metallurgical structures near the outer and inner surface of the tube are shown in Fig. 6 (a) and (b) respectively.
It is shown that the metallurgical structures either near the inner surface or outer surface of the tube are nearly the same, both are ferrite (white) and pearlite (black).
