Excavation Deformation Analysis of Deep-Cutting High Rock Slope Lin NIE1, a and Depei ZHOU2,b 1School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong Univ., Chengdu 610031, China 2Chengdu City Construction Investment Management Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu 610015, China acdnielin@gmail.com, bdpzhou@swjtu.edu.cn Keywords: rock slope; deep-cutting valley; excavation deformation; numerical analysis Abstract: The mainly purpose of the paper is to investigate the slope excavation deformation of the rock slope at the deep-cutting valley under different load conditions.
Based on the engineering practical experience, the effected depth by the blasting is 5m or so, in which range the strength parameters of the rock mass should be reduced.
According to the data from the HydroChina Chengdu Engineering Corporation, the seismic intensity reaches grade Ⅶ [5].
