Introduction Formaldehyde (CHOH) is one of the harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCS) emitted by wood furniture, interior decoration materials, plastics, fabrics, and so on[1-4].
The fabricated sensor of LaFe0.7Zn0.3O3 showed large sensitivity to formaldehyde gas, high selectivity against toluene, acetone and methanol at operating temperature of 250℃ and quick response, indicating the potential applications using Zn-LaFeO3 materials for formaldehyde gas sensing.
