Introduction In the manufacturing of dies and molds, the need for high-speed machining technology that can provide the advantages of high-quality machined surface as well as the reduction of machining time and lead time is ever increasing.
In this approach, the machining conditions { N , tf , rd , ad } at each stage, which have been evolved with the ones selected at random as initial conditions, are used as the input data for the ANN.
Table 4 shows 10 selected data nearest to the required conditions obtained from the simple search results for all possible cases in order to find the machining condition in which the MRR is greater than the desired MRR and the surface roughness is the lowest.
It is expected that the accuracy of the search for the optimized machining conditions can be increased and the optimum solution for the multi-objective function can be obtained by securing more data and by using detailed restricted conditions.

In the compression test of pure Mg and 6063 Al using 20 kHz ultrasonic excitation, Culp and Gencsoy observed the load reductions for all materials5.
In order to analyze the effect of frequency and amplitude in the movement of the tool ultrasonic vibration during the cutting process, cemented carbide material is used, the cutting parameters in table 1 and the data in table 2 are used to create different group of ultrasonic vibration cutting model.
