First-Aid and Provisional Devices in Historical Structures with Collapse Risk after Seismic Shock FERRARI Lia1,a* 1Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma, Parco Area delle Scienze 181/A, 43124 Parma (PR), Italy alia.ferrari1@studenti.unipr.it Keywords: structural securing, emergency tools, provisional devices, structural strengthening, earthquake, historical masonry buildings Abstract.
After the safeguard activities managed by the Civil Defense and the Fire Brigade Teams, Municipal authorities often preferred to entrust the design and the realization of provisional works to external companies that tried to develop "emergency" solutions as soon as possible: the purposes were only the prevention of the imminent collapse of the building and the public safety.
The research, which is taking place within the PhD program in Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Parma, in collaboration with the Regional Agency for Reconstruction, investigates the problems related to securing damaged structures after the Emilian earthquake.
This is the goal of the research that is taking place within the PhD program in Civil Engineering and Architecture: the definition of guidelines that help to quickly choose the most suitable first-aid interventions in order to optimize the resources, not only to stem the emergency but also to optimize the subsequent final strengthening phase.

Noise and vibration analysis has become thoroughly researched in vehicle engineering where is needed to keep the noise level low and affect the vehicle users.
We'll narrow our attention to mechanical systems witch in particular have an inceasing importance in the field of aerospace, civil, and mechanical engineering.
Dynamic analysis of structure-fluid interaction Part of engineering dealing with acoustic analysis is found in literature as NVH ( Noise , Vibration, and Harshness ) studying changes sound and vibrate features a mechanical system .
