Because the complication and uncertainty of the channel structure, physical and mechanical properties and external force, it is difficult to establish a proper deterministic model.
The accuracy of support vector machine was affected by parameter selection, which determined the learning and generalizing ability of the machine.
Analysis of the influence factor on the silt deposition and PSO-SVM algorithm 2.1 Analysis of the influence factor on the silt deposition 2.1.1 Mechanism analysis of the silt deposition To the harbor channel outside the sea or river, the sand brought by wind and wave could be classified as bed sand and floating sand.
Consider there are so many factors in the formation of the channel silt, a predictive model of the channel silt was established by using PSO-SVM algorithm.
The optimum solution was obtained by using PSO-SVM to firstly set every factor which could affect the channel siltation to be the related particle’s position vector (X), and then use mean square error energy function to be the optimized target function, and then iterated through the particle swarm optimizing equation 7 and 8.

We define a prosthetic restoration as good if biological, aesthetic and mechanical properties of the same are balanced.
It is essential to maintain the cervical enamel margin and to integrate the incisal edge to increase mechanical resistance and enable proper placement. [38] The clinical success of porcelain veneers depends upon many factors.
But in generally, most of the cases demand some kind of tooth modification for superior aesthetics, like better color change without affecting the thickness of the veneer.

Introduction The search for alloys with improved high-temperature specific strength and creep-resistance properties for aerospace applications has led in the last decades to sustained research activities to develop new alloys and/or improve existing ones [1].
There are many factors that affect the characteristics of creep of metals.
The goal of heat treatment is to change the mechanical and structural characteristics of materials in each application [7].
However, the affinity by oxygen is one of main factors that limit the application of titanium and its alloys as structural material at high temperatures [8].
To consider these interactions the designer requires a description of both the physical and mechanical properties of each layer of the thermal barrier coating [12 - 15].

Introduction Durability of dies is one of the most important factors affecting the cost of hot forging products and is in the range of 5 to 30% of the cost [1].
The tool life evaluation has been done using the same mechanical properties of the steel H13 as in the first example of bevel gear forging.
The elastic properties during cyclic loading for steel H13 are published in work [10] and critical plastic strain is approximated using the results of investigation in [18].
Meanwhile despite of limited amount of important experimental information regarding properties of the tool steel, the approach for quantitative estimation the tool life of the dies in hot and cold forging is possible as shown in this paper.

Derivation of the system for the Minimum Value Calculation Since there are a great number of different influencing variables affecting the energy consumption, the first step to derive a calculation system is the coverage of all influencing factors.
Analysis of the influencing factors determining the energy consumption.
As a next step, sub-factors can be determined based on the main influencing factors. [4] In this case, the goal is not to find the influencing factors of a problem, but to detect energy drivers of the process.
The term material properties denominates the physical, chemical, and technological properties of a material.
Most of these material properties can be specified quantitive by means of so called material parameters [11].

In the machining process, force, vibration and other factors affected the bonding strength of coating.
Table 1 showed the properties of materials.
In the analysis process, the thickness of coating was assumed to be uniform, the bonding strength values of all points of the interface were equal, the material properties were isotropic [5], and stress changing that generated in the counterparts bonding process was ignored.

When an external stress is applied to the ferromagnetic material, its magnetic properties will be altered, which is called the magnetomechanical effect [1, 2].
For the passed few decades, a lot of researches have been focused on the effects of stress on magnetic properties, a number of magnetic techniques for NDT have been suggested, developed, and utilized in industry, including both active magnetic techniques and passive magnetic techniques [3-11].
If this contact is not properly dealt with, the change in magnetic properties for sample may in fact be caused by a systematic measurement error, rather than microstructure or stress effects [18].
Also, many other factors can influence the measured precision and reproducibility in magnetic stress measurement.
Therefore we had to taken a corresponding measure to reduce the effects of interfering factors.

The first group of natural causes may include factors that arise naturally and cannot be eliminated.
The second and third groups comprise factors arising in performance of certain technological operations.
In view of the above, significant funds are allocated to fighting corrosion, which makes microbiological corrosion of reinforced concrete collectors a serious and costly problem affecting the sewage systems across the world.
Other causes of collector destruction are collector tray wear, mechanical damages to collector structures brought about by external factors and the impact of chemically aggressive effluents.

In terms of minimising heat input and optimising mechanical properties, the faster speeds were then selected for both processes.
Hybrid welds can possess an advantage over autogenous welds as the associated filler addition can be used to improve the mechanical properties of the weld metal.
As Fig. 6 shows, the weld metal hardness values towards the weld top and in the mid-thickness of the hybrid weld were very similar, indicating that the non-uniform weld metal composition, as shown previously in Fig. 4, was not likely to significantly affect mechanical properties measured at different thickness positions.
Tensile properties of Yb-fibre laser and hybrid Yb-fibre laser-MIG welds.
• Use of novel filler additions can achieve grain refinement, and ongoing work is anticipated to lead to a corresponding improvement in mechanical properties.
