Classical surface NDT methods are thus advantageously supplemented by surface prints in selected places of the inspected material.
The replica material does not shrink, is flexible and non-flammable.
For easy application of the replication material, an application gun is available to the user, in which the two components are mixed, and a silicone rubber-based replica is formed.
Both types were compared with each other during printing of the defects detected by the fluorescence magnetic method on the surface of the rotor bearing journal, Fig. 2.
