Adhesively bonded joints are widely adopted for aerospace composite structures since they can reduce the total weight of structures, transfer stresses more homogeneously, and extend the fatigue life.
But the joint generally has inferior mechanical properties to the base materials because of the existence of interfacial or transitional region that shows quite different gradient in chemistry and microstructures.
Bonded parts can be more critical than base structures to determine the overall structural integrity.
Within a limited use temperature range, PVDF film sensors can be readily embedded into composite structures to be monitored.

For comparison with oxide structures that were formed by oxidation of foil with film, tests were also carried out on uncoated foil.

However, because of the cubic phase of LiMn2O4 crystal structure, the one dimensional structure of electrode materials were difficultly synthesized.
The electrochemical performances, structure, and morphology for LiMn2O4 nanorods have been studied.
Outstanding electrochemical properties for the LiMn2O4 nanorods attributed to one dimensional nanorod structure can provided a larger surface area, shorter lithium ion diffusion path, maintain stable structure, guaranteed the good rate performance[4].

Models A water droplet on a hydrophobic micro structure surface may take two possible equilibriums, illustrated in Fig.1.
From Fig.2, two kinds of micro structures of PP surface and stainless steel wire mesh complement each other.
Different magnification of PP shows that it can perfectly copy the micro structure of stainless steel wire mesh surface and even can form nano structure after stripping the screen from PP surface.
And the longer cooling time is also very helpful to copy the micro structure of the screen.
