Optimization to Human Thermal Comfort in Transitional Spaces by Artificial Immune Algorithm

Abstract.
Based on the dynamic comfort equations and the advantage of artificial immune algorithm in tackling combinatorial optimization to engineering problems, the artificial immune algorithm has been applied to the optimization of thermal parameters for the HVAC design within a transitional space.
The thermal comfort in a non-steady state thermal environment is referred to as dynamic thermal comfort and expressed by Relative Warmth Index (RWI) which was developed by Transportation Air Conditioning Committee of American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) [6], adopted to assess present thermal status of the transitional spaces in warm weather condition, and is expected to indicate real thermal sensation of such environment.
Combining dynamic thermal comfort model with the advantages of AIA in optimizing engineering problems, the preferable range of indoor air temperatures and relative air velocities which accommodate the thermal comfort requirements under different partial vapor pressure and linger period is obtained by simulation.

Abstract.
This paper presents a methodology to design optimal forming process parameters of the sleeper fixed reinforcing plate based on the use of computer aided engineering (CAE) technology.
Presently, forming processes are accomplished mainly through engineers’ experience and numerical simulation.
However, because of the inherent differences in the engineers’ experience, the design qualities will be different from each other [3].
Thus, in this paper, the forming limit diagram and the thickness distribution diagram acquired by computer aided engineering (CAE) technology are used to check the forming results.

Some ecological knowledge and disasters prevention technology should be collected and extracted from ecology and restoration ecology, biology and biotechnology, green building materials engineering, environmental engineering, earthquake disaster reduction planning, building fire protection and prevention, structures against lightning etc.
Therefore earthquake engineering is lifeline engineering and ecological project.
In conceptual design of earthquake engineering, appropriate and reliable tech should be paid attention to.
