Number Study of the Formation Process of Shaped Charge Metal Jet for Quarry Mining

Article Preview

Abstract:

The shock wave and quasi-static state gas that were created by tradition block holing would influence the wall-rock and damage it in quarrying and cutting. For the purpose of the cutting level off and the scatheless wall-rock, the shaped charge was used for the inner cutting and quarrying in the paper. The simulation of the whole course of shaped change metal jet was performed by the ANSYS AUTODYN. The simulation shows: the top and bottom of the metal liner were collapsed slowly; the collapse velocity of the middle of liner was quicker, and a velocity gradient was formed, the focal point was the maximum velocity point. It could be concluded that the study could be used in the engineering design for stone inner cutting and the calculation of penetration parameters.
