Surface properties, such as surface roughness, surface chemistry, and topography of the implants [12-17], influence the initial cell response at the cell–material interphase, ultimately affecting the rate and quality of the newly formed tissue [30].
However, coatings’ adhesion (to the substrate) and thermal properties might also have affected the cellular response since some of our formulations contained PTFE.

Kovacevic et al [3] carried out thermal and thermo-mechanical analyses using finite elements.
These analyses are based on a heat source model, not considering the thermo-mechanical coupling generated by plastic flow.
The tool is comprised of a shoulder 32 mm in diameter with a pin of diameter 10 mm at the top and 9.5 mm height extending down from the shoulder center as shown in figure 1.The tool material is a proprietary M2 tool steel alloy exhibiting good hardness and heat transfer properties.
The plastic flow significantly affects heat transport within the workpiece, even for 6061 aluminum alloy that has a high thermal conductivity.

CPC with good anti-washout performance was prepared and the effects of the modified starches on the properties of CPC were investigated.
Results and Discussion Effects of the modified starches on the anti-washout properties of CPCs.
According to the data of the percentage of remaining cement (PRC) and the anti-washout time in Table 1, it is shown the effects of modified starch on the anti-washout properties of CPCs.
Mechanical properties such as compressive strength are important factors to evaluate calcium phosphate cements, especially when they will be used for reconstruction of stress bearing bone [7].
These results indicated a positive effect of modified starch on the mechanical properties of the cements.

This process is included in the group of indirect additive techniques, that is, the properties of the part that comes out from the printing stage (green part) is far from the final properties, hence post-processing is required.
After debinding, the part is highly porous and weak, thus, the mechanical properties are poor
Other parameters can also influence the final properties, such as part orientation, which generates the stair effect and therefore affects the surface quality; also, the exposure time between two consecutive layers, which affects the mechanical, physical and microstructural properties of the printed parts [9].
The geometry, symmetry or thickness of the part are factors that influence the curling effect.

Controlling only one selected product property can impair the other properties.
The speed of the crashing car has been identified as one of the most important factors for injuries.
Economic factors, such as the sales opportunities for a product with the corresponding alternative design as well as production costs, can have an impact on this assessment (with further references: [12, recital 18]).
It is particularly important for components affecting safety that consistent quality is achieved.
Therefore, these properties were at least monitored implicitly.

This article uses Agrobacterium tumefaciens UP-3 with independent intellectual property rights of our own as the oil biodesulfurization bacterium.
Results and discussion Desulfurization performance of growth cells The growth of microorganisms was not only affected by the medium, but also greatly influenced by temperature, pH, pressure, ventilation status and other factors of growth environment.
Among them, the immobilized material is an important factor affecting the immobilized effect, and the principle of selection of the immobilized material is low cost, easy operation, high activity of immobilized microorganisms, long life and so on.
So it's necessary to select the proper concentration in order to facilitate the immobilization process and keep the better mechanical strength.
But when the SA concentration further reduces with PVA concentration rising, the inner structure of immobilized balls becomes much compacter, affecting the diffusion of substrates and reaction products, reducing the activity of embedded cells and the degradation performance of immobilized cells.

Introduction Microstructure greatly affects the low temperature mechanical properties of weldments, at any given strength level.
Fine-grained metals and alloys generally possess significantly higher notched-bar impact properties than coarse-grained metals.
For example, Nickel is known to reduce the DBTT and to improve low-temperature mechanical properties of steel [2].
This work characterized the evolution of fractographs of charpy tested specimens with added Ni and analyzed the key factors influencing toughness.
Conclusions The experiment results from spectroscopy, toughness and SEM, we revealed the relationship among chemical, metallurgical and mechanical properties through multipass SMAW by adding nickel into flux of consumable electrodes.

Molten phase negatively affects refractoriness of the materials.
Decomposition depends on many factors such as grain size, temperature, dwelling time, situations of kiln atmosphere, type, and modification of SiC, and additive materials [1, 4].
Demands on kiln brick properties are gradually increasing.
As seen in Table 2 and Fig. 1-2, physical and mechanical properties of the samples which were sintered at 1500 oC have better quality than that heated at 1000 oC.

Forging processes are widely used for producing parts of excellent mechanical properties with minimum waste of material.
Using FEM it is possible to study at the same time the influence of several technological factors [5], especially those ones like strain hardening that usually cannot be easily introduced in analytical conventional methods.
Methodology Many factors can affect the required energy in this process.
In order to evaluate the effect of strain hardening, the material of the workpiece has been modeled considering two material behaviors in the plastic region: a Rigid Perfectly Plastic-RPP material and a Strain Hardened-SH one, whose main properties are gathered in Table 1.
Material properties for two types of material Rigid Perfectly Plastic (RPP) Strain Hardened (SH) Flow Stress (GPa) 0.7 0.7 3.7 Plastic Strain 0.0 0.0 10.0 Both forging load and contact pressure distributions are calculated assuming a rigid perfectly plastic material and additionally, a strain hardened one.

Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical System (MOEMS) has the advantages of small size, light weight, little energy consumption, high reliability, high-volume production and so on.
The detection principle of traditional sensors is adopted, i.e. physical laws and physical property changes.
MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) manufacturing technology is used.
The miniaturization on the geometric size of micro-sensor not only maintains its original sensing properties, but also improves its temperature stability, which makes it less susceptible to the interference of outside temperature.
