Professor Xiao Li, from Jilin construction engineering college, used straws to develop a new type of straw lightweight insulation block in 2011, and it used broken corn straws as the main material, mixing with cement and surface modification agent.
Wang xiaofeng, bao-zhu cao and other professors, from Jilin construction engineering college, through the straw bale insulation performance in 2013, found that: under the natural state, straw bales’ thermal conductivity coefficient is 0.125 W/(m·K), 28 W/(m·K) dried straw bales’ thermal conductivity coefficient is 0.11712 W/(m·K), straw clay brick coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.7781 W/(m·K), and straw concrete brick coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.15768 W/(m·K), which means that straw bale has good heat preservation performance.
The directional structure of wheat straw board has the characteristics of qualitative light, high performance, energy conservation and environmental protection, which can be used for the civil architecture and industrial building.

In this sense, it is of vital importance to enhance structural strength, and to improve the anti-seismic and anti-detonating capacities of the key engineering in urban.
As the RPC overcomes the deficiency of the concrete and reinforced concrete, it could be widely applied to the protecting facilities, civil engineering.
Its high strength and durability, in particular, could boost the capacity of the urban lifeline engineering in resisting to earthquake and explosion.
The excellent performance of not being smashed is of vital importance to ensure the security and reliability of the anti-blast and earthquake-resistant engineering.
