Introduction The stability analysis for rock slope is still the focus of the study in geotechnical engineering.
Then based on the above results and engineering requirements, whether to ensure the safety of slope with reinforcement measures such as bolt or cable can be determined, which is convenient to the practical application of engineering.

Combining with on-site engineering practice, the insulation heating device is designed.
The lowest surface temperature of rock is above 40℃,the rock temperature of blasting drilling is up to 100℃.So far, such a high temperature engineering geological phenomena is the first case in the world.

The main topics of this Special Issue are linear and, mainly, nonlinear dynamics, chaos and control of systems and structures and their applications in different field of science and engineering.
The modern vertical transportation systems involve several technological and engineering challenges, especially in tall office and residential towers where the development and control of safe high-speed elevators and energy efficient escalator systems has become an important issue.
Nonlinear dynamics and mechanics of structural elements such as beams, plates and shells is an important topic in applied mechanics and one of the most application-oriented fields in dynamics impacting several engineering fields, including civil, mechanical, naval, aero spatial, offshore and biomechanical engineering.
The discussion of real problems in aerospace and how these problems can be understood and solved in view of numerical, computational, theoretical and experimental approaches is an important field in engineering science.

According to engineering requirements, mechanical vibration test machine has determined the coordination of the various coefficients as a single objective optimization function after considering multiple conflicting incommensurability of the objective function, and combining practical experience and computing experience.
Although the two parts are interrelated, there are optimization requirements applicable to each other, but because of the failure of the main form of V-belt is slipping and fatigue two, the work of the tight side tension stress δi, centrifugal tension δc and tight around the edges small pulley caused the maximum bending stress δb, and with the periodic cycle of alternating stress are related to the diameter of the pulley, so the V-belt transmission design are generally based on work requirements and conditions of the first engineering design of V-belt, and then to transmission ratio, based on the principles of design in accordance with optimal diameter pulley, the pulley in addition to considering the design fits in with the V-belt, but also involves a wide range of issues, both from the weight, strength, and V-belt friction coefficient, etc. consider choosing the right material, but also consider the appropriate structure, process and precision; such as the use of cast iron casting material
The goal of optimization in a single integrated optimization of the overall weight to be based on different engineering requirements, combined with practical experience and experience in computing the decision, calculation according to different needs compared to a spreadsheet, whichever is the last best value.
Exact solution with the conventional method when calculating both complex and cumbersome process of comparison, the method is simple, clear, flexible to meet the engineering requirements of a variety of different advantages, therefore, easy to spread.

This might constitute a useful tool providing organized knowledge on the MRF world for scholars and practitioners approaching to the world of MRF technology as well as a support to engineers/designers during the early design tasks.
These aspects make MRF technology attractive for many practical applications in different fields: say, civil engineering, manufacturing, biomechanics, automotive, etc.
Based on a limited database (SCOPUS®), the model might constitute a useful and promising tool providing structured knowledge for scholars approaching to the world of MRF technology and to support engineers/designers during the design process.
