The model made by photoelastic materials can product birefringence phenomenon when it withstood loads at room temperature and the birefringence phenomenon will disappear when the loads lost.

When model test of the conveyance-water tunnel in soft soil is carried out, selection of the test
materials is the main.
Here if the assumptions used here organic glass tunnel to carry out test simulation, prototype and model under the elastic modulus (bulk modulus) than as a principle on the need to use the elastic modulus (bulk modulus) materials with lower Simulation of soft soil (such as gelatin) and water tunnels.
Summaries Based on the specific selection of test materials and derivation of similar formula, a similar skill of model test on the water-conveyance tunnel is proposed.
