From all possible energy sources from the ambient, mechanical vibration could easily be harvested through electromechanical coupling materials and is the most attractive to be miniaturized using MEMS technology, which has raised the interest to power these tiny devices [3].
Once the structural design process is complete, the design is exported to ThermoElectroMechanical (TEM) for static and frequency analysis.During this step, the simulation setting parameters, piezoelectric materials and boundary condition were pre-defined.
The load was also applied prior to the analysis.The default setting for the material is accepted for both Si and ZnO.
