Engineering Situation The length of pedestrian roadway in Shuguang mine which is development roadway of mining area is 1500m and service life is long.
They belong to general underground roadway engineering.
The ground stress law is almost same to that of general underground engineering, mainly because horizontal stress is smaller than vertical stress.

An Analysis of Seepage Prevention Wall Behaviours of Deep Overburden Dam with Clay Core Bo Zhang Department of civil Engineering & Architecture, Shaanxi University of Technology, HanZhong, Shaanxi, 723001, China zhangyc_2005@126.com Keywords: Deep overburden, Seepage prevention wall, Optimization of material mix proportion, Stress and displacement.
The maximum vertical stress in diaphragm wall goes up with the rising of elastic modulus for concrete wall at the time of engineering completion.
period decreases slightly when E is at the high side and increases slightly when E is at the low side relative to the time of engineering completion, but the increment is not so large.
Fig.3 the vertical maximum stress variation curve graph with E(water impounding operation period ) Fig.2 the vertical maximum stress variation curve graph with E( engineering completion period ) Fig.5the vertical maximum displacement variation curve graph with E(water impounding operation period ) Fig.4 the vertical maximum displacement variation curve graph with E( engineering completion period ) Conclusions In the analysis of dams constructed with deep overburden layer, the initial ground stress should be loaded, the contact behaviors of seepage prevention wall and dam foundation should be treated correctly, and the optimum elastic modulus for seepage prevention wall should have the value of about 4000MPa after an all-round analysis has been made of the stress and displacement of seepage prevention wall, and the paper provided reference for material selection of the seepage prevention wall.
